Lantern Drift

Lantern Drift is the kind of game you open when you want to think a little but not stress. You steer glowing lanterns through canals by sliding blocks, and the water physics feel gentle without being sloppy.

It's easy on the battery, which surprised me given how nice it looks. I played for forty minutes on the train and barely lost a chunk of charge. The one-handed portrait layout means you never fight the screen.

The later chapters get properly tricky, but the difficulty climbs at a fair pace. No timers, no lives to refill, just puzzles that respect your time.
